This is a second hand swell back version of the Gliga 1 range. Gligas are hand made in Romania. It is in very good condition with minimal scratches I’m also throwing a bag in as well. This Mittenwald flat back was magnificently restored by Benedict Puglisi of Melbourne in 2007. It has been used by a professional jazz bassist for the past four years though it's deep, clear arco sound would make it a wonderful instrument for an intermediate to advanced orchestral player. upper bouts 54cm mid bouts 38cm lower bouts 71cm body length 1100cm string length 112cm/44" Currently, this bass is set up with Helicore Hybrid strings.

Big instrument, big rich sound. Flamed maple back and ribs, spruce belly, honey-coloured satin finish. Recently re-shot ebony finger-board. Helicore strings. Condition excellent. Good padded bag with many holds. One owner (orchestral player) from new. Selling only because it is too big for me.
