I am a Sydney based maker of violins and guitars and the violin for sale is a recently completed instrument by me. It features European Spruce and Maple construction, Rosewood fittings, and oil varnish. The instrument has a big sound and will be suitable for the advanced/tertiary student through to the semi-professional or professional range and represents good value for money. The violin comes with a case but no bow, however I can negotiate the supply of a bow at extra cost if necessary. This is one of several instruments I currently have for sale so please refer to my other listings or make an inquiry. I live in Sydney and urge any prospective buyer to come to me and try the instrument, or arrange for someone to do so. If you cannot arrange to view it then I can provide more pictures and information via email or phone. I will post to interstate or overseas and offer the option of a three day trial period under certain conditions - inquire for details. Hand made strat copy circa 1750 est

This is a copy of a strat..it is handmade and in top condition for its age....it was purchased at an deceased estate auction.Fake starts made in factories after 1800 were forced to include date and country..this one is unmarked making it i would say around 1750...it is hand made as it has all the hand made tell say lines...i know as i am a luthier by trade..this was not made in a factory and made with simple hand tools...can explain over ph...The older the timber the better the sounding.. melbourne area west 53682796 im not allowed to put pics up with out paying if u give me email i wll supply pics. vampire_guitars@hotmail.com

Beautiful German 1/2 size violin + bow + case + shoulder rest (Kun brand) + insurance valuation documentation from Sydney String Centre (2 November 2010). Instrument and accessories are being sold at HALF the insurance value. Insurance value is as follows: - violin = $1000 - bow = $55 - case = $95. Excellent sound, particularly for small violin. Some minor wear and tear and a faint crack along the centre join has been excellently repaired (see upclose photo of bridge). Tryout and inspection highly recommended.

Insurance valuation by Sydney String Centre will be provided for violin, case and bow (dated 2 November 2010). Instrument and accessories are being sold at HALF the insurance value. Insurance value is as follows: - violin = $500 - bow = $55 - case = $65 The violin has an excellent tone. It has a good cover of red/orange varnish and is fitted with ebony pegs. Some minor stress marks (detailed in valuation, see below) but still produces great sound. The A string is missing. The bow and case are in excellent condition and the case is very sturdy. Prospective buyers are encouraged to make arrangements to inspect and try the instrument.

3/4 German Trade Violin

This instrument is of German Trade Manufacture by unknown master craftsman and is typical of the instruments made in this period of time. The violin has a two piece back of medium figured maple descending slightly from the joint. The ribs and head are of plainer maple. The belly is of fine grained spruce. The varnish is a warm brown colour. A restored old timber case and an old German bow accompanies the instrument. The bow is distinguishable by a shield design inlay situated on the frog of the bow, which is made of mother of pearl.

The owner has outgrown the violin so it is now up for sale. The violin now lives in Warwick Qld. When shipped it will be in its case , wrapped in bubble wrap and marked fragile. Insurance is included in the cost of freight. You are also welcome to pick it up. The Violin has been in storage for a year so will require new strings and a bow to play at its full potential.. The violin has an internal sticker which authenticates its origin. Once you have purchased the violin I am happy to have it shipped to Simmers for checking. Their minimum charge is $75. In very good condition. Full size violin, comes with 2 bows, case and shoulder rest. One of the bows is very good quality for a school violin. The outfit was purchased new and used in senior school orchestra.

This is a nicely made 3/4 size French trade violin in excellent condition - there are no cracks or repairs at all. The violin has an attractive red varnish and a lightly flamed two-piece back. The back measurement is 337mm. The body stop is 180mm and the neck stop is 117mm. The violin comes with a case in near-new condition and a good quality Paesold wooden 3/4 bow. It has been professionally set up and is currently fitted with Dominant strings. The sound quality of the instrument is outstanding and it would suit a talented student who needs something above the ordinary.
