Musicale is an Australian company that aims to provide an easy and secure way for buyers and sellers of orchestral stringed instruments and bows to find each other. The site is administered by two experienced violin makers - Hugh Withycombe and Alan Coggins.

Sellers can list their instruments anonymously, or they may choose to include their name if they prefer... however, their contact details will always remain completely confidential. Music shops, dealers and violin makers can also use the Musicale facilities to promote their products with the option of including a link to their web site in all of their advertisements.

Buyers of instruments can freely view all of the advertisements on Musicale without the need to register or log in. Items are categorised and can be sorted by city, state and price, making it easy to quickly locate and browse the ads that are most relevant. Any enquiries about an item are submitted through the web site and immediately forwarded to the seller who can then decide how to follow up on the contact.
